Tenant Referencing and Checks
Once new tenants have been found, Darlows will manage all tenant referencing and checks, getting them ready to move in as soon as possible.
- Referencing and Right to Rent checks including credit checks, employment, and references from former landlords
- Organising any safety compliance certificates
- Arranging deposits
- Take move-in monies and ensure the tenancy agreement has been signed
Whether you’re letting one property or five, working with our team to complete these references saves you time, energy, and effort.
Maintenance and Finance
Now your tenants are successfully moved in, your local Darlows property management team will become their point of contact.
As part of the full management service, the team organise any essential maintenance and repairs. Plus, any arrears will be handled promptly, to minimise loss and protect your income.
CMP
The client money protection scheme protects landlords and tenants against letting agents who misappropriate funds. The CMP scheme reimburses landlords and tenants if they lose rent, deposit or other client funds. It has been mandatory for letting agents since 2019. Agents pay an annual levy to be part of the scheme, based on the amount of client funds they hold.
